Other Local Links

Below are some links to southern California things to do and places to go – current and future – to help you plan your calendar.
The Fullerton Art Walk in Historic Downtown Fullerton is brought to you by the Downtown Art Community, which is made up of a diverse group of individual venues.  It takes place the 1st Friday of every month.  Our aim is to bring you to the historic and cultural center of our fair city for a Friday night highlight at Fullerton’s creative core in it's existing venues.  The premier art walk happened 3/5/10 and is going strong.  Many retailers, restaurants, salons and traditional full-time galleries will be featuring local, and other original work.  A map of participating venues is available at any of the locations which, as luck would have it, includes OTTO and Out Of Vogue!  See you then!  To find the latest information click the F.A.W. link above or see the Facebook Group or  Facebook Page.
This old theater has seen better days and has been on the verge of being demolished since it closed in 1987.  Now, with the help of concerned citizens of Fullerton and of the community of Fox Theater supporters it has been saved and is awaiting enough funds for a complete physical inside and out.  Please visit their site and perhaps see how you can help move her along to the next grand opening!
OCMA
The Orange County Museum of Art is the premier visual arts organization in Orange County, California, serving a population of nearly three million residents in one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country. With critically acclaimed exhibitions  and award winning education programs.
...and to go greenly

Want to get here but don't want to drive? Take the Metrolink...even on weekends!
Other "must-clicks"
to enhance your experience...

Atomic Ranch is a quarterly magazine devoted to 1940's-70's ranch houses and modernist tract homes.

This is a keeper for your home library, and luckily you can pick one up at OTTO. Current and some back issues available.
Available at OTTO!  The only magazine devoted to the great design movements of the 20th century, from Art Deco to Mid-Century, Pop and Post-Modern, with coverage of new products and interiors in a Modernist idiom.
Shop Small Stores.   It's OTTO's motto, and the motto of a grassroots organization, the 3/50 project™ whose focus is to remind consumers to shop small, locally-owned stores in the community.  Money spent in the community comes back, to help the community. For every $100 spent in locally-owned, independent stores, $68 returns to the community (versus $43 from a national chain store).  Help keep your tax dollars local.  Shop Downtown Fullerton's independently-owned boutiques. We appreciate your support.
